About Us

Insustyle was created because, as an insulin pump user myself, I was tired of feeling like clothing just wasn’t made for my needs. Every day felt like a compromise: adjusting the pump and tubing, clipping, using different types of belts and undergarments. And so my wife and I kept thinking… why isn’t there a fashion line that integrates inclusive design into modern lifestyle clothing?
That question is what led us to create Insustyle. Our modern lifestyle clothing feature dual inner waistband pockets that securely and comfortably hold the pump and accessories, so once you wear it , not only can you move freely, but dress confidently at the same time as well, and finally stop fighting with your clothes.
About our sweatpants, a lot of work went into perfecting the design, and when I tried out the final prototype, it felt like a weight lifted. For the first time, my clothes worked with me, not against me, and I knew I wanted others to experience that feeling too. It is amazing how a small change like that can effect your mood and give you that much needed boost in confidence!
Apart from the look and feel, quality of the fabrics and clothing production is extremely important to us as well, that is why our pieces are sourced and crafted in Portugal, one of Europe’s most respected textile regions, from premium, locally sourced fabrics; combining craftsmanship, high quality, and responsible sourcing.
